Monthly Update: June 2022

Really not much to report this month - probably the least event month I’ve had in several years, Forlorn wise. Music continues to be worked on, but due to various reasons it’s been slow going on that front. Unfortunately the final episode won’t make it out in time for June, as I had originally hoped. That being said, it’s looking very likely that the whole thing will be wrapped up nice and tight by mid July.

Other than that, it’s been extremely busy in all other areas. Me and my wife are now knee deep in preparing for our move to Canada, which has been made difficult due to the demands of our respective jobs, and other social engagements. My work on Black Adam (the trailer of which dropped a while back now) is very nearly complete, but as such it’s important to make sure nothing falls through the cracks, which requires a lot of time and attention. That being said, it’s been quite a ride on this film, and I currently have no idea what the future holds. I’ve worked on this movie for over two and a half years, it’ll be weird moving onto something new. I also have Covid, which has been a lot of fun. I’ve been able to avoid it for this long, but it was bound to catch up to me eventually.

In terms of Forlorn I’ve been doing some more writing, which has been good fun, and planning for my various other projects continues. As of now I have additional Forlorn content, a small tech test short film, a larger scoped short film, and a couple of other random projects floating around. Once things finally cool down hopefully I can pick one and make it happen.

Until next month!

Alex
