Part II: Complete
You heard it here folks! Forlorn - Part II has officially gone gold. The incomparable Toft Willingham handed in his superb score last week, and the final mix and output have been completed. There are still a couple of minor things to get to (creating a thumbnail for instance), but for the most part it’s ready for the world to see it. But, as I mentioned in the past, I plan on sitting on it for a few weeks while I dig into Part III. So, expect it to drop in the latter half of September. In the mean time, the next episode is ready for production. The new rigs are built, the set is laid out and textured, all that’s left now is animation, and some layout adjustments. I have to go back and adjust some of the camera angles to reflect the final set, now that I don’t have placeholder geometry, but that’s a simple task. I anticipate getting to actual animation by next weekend, which is ahead of schedule, for sure. At this rate, it’s possible I might be able to get part III and part IV out by the end of the year, but I don’t want to make any lofty promises, especially because the film I’m working on for my actual job is going to be ramping up considerably in that time as well. Either way, I look forward to the road ahead. Speaking of which, I also have some very exciting news to share! But that’ll have to wait for just a while longer…
