Forlorn: Completed

Today marks 3 years to the day that I took the plunge and started down this crazy road, and in a stoke of cosmic coincidence today also marks the final stop on that road.

Ladies and Gentlemen, my work on Project Forlorn is finally, actually complete!

Written in August 2018, shelved and then restarted in May of 2019, the entire 11 minute and 24 second short film was crafted from the ground up and animated entirely by hand by just myself over 3 years and countless thousands of hours.

However, we're not totally finished just yet. While my work on the short is now done, it's off to the extremely talented hands of Toft Willingham to write the final segment of score for the film. Once received, then the final episode of this arc will be out for the world to see.

Even so, it's a crazy feeling. For the first time in years I can finally sit back and relax...

Who am I kidding? My next film is already in the planning stages, and I can't wait to finally dive into Unreal Engine 5. Rest assured, the world of Forlorn will continue!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and watched my work. I'm so incredibly grateful for all that you've done, and I would not have been able to do this without you!

Alex
